Yup, I finally hosted my first workshop! My husband's aunt, Susan, hosted the party with her workmates. It was a blast! I was nervous, stayed up way too late making the projects and got no sales, but overall, it was a fun and great learning experience for me. There were 8 ladies, one brought her daughter. I know they were lured to Susan's house because of her fabulous cocktails....and they were FABULOUS...but why not learn to make a card too? Well they did and we had a great time. I did not take pics of the projects, but suffice it to say they were two simple cards. I showed them stepped up versions. But, here are the gifts I made:

Way to go Cathy! I'm sure you had oodles of fun, and you're right about the cocktails: a great draw to the event! I love, love, love your envelope embellishment! And your cutting is absolutely perfect! Tell me something when you have time, please. Did you use 12 x 12 cardstock to create the folder? I hope so because I have a ton of it and would like to create several gifts like these. I just opened my schedule up to more workshops and these are just perfect! Thanks for sharing, Celia
